Az egynapos tudományos eszmecsere többek között olyan kérdésekre keresi a választ, hogy mit tanítsunk, és hogyan tanítsunk, mit jelent  a garantáltan piacképes tudás és létezik-e naprakész tananyag?

Contemporary Challenges in Public Education and Higher Education

The University of Miskolc’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in collaboration with its Institute of Modern Philology and Teacher Training Institute, is hosting an international conference on ‘Contemporary Challenges in Public Education and Higher Education’.

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the international interdisciplinary conference titled „Contemporary Challenges in Public Education and Higher Education.” The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for the presentation of the latest research and innovations in the field of education. This one-day academic exchange aims to address current issues in primary and secondary education, vocational training, and higher education. We seek answers to questions such as: What should we teach? How should we teach? What does it mean to have guaranteed marketable knowledge? Is there such a thing as an „up to date” curriculum? The keynote speaker at the conference is Prof. Dr. László Mérő, mathematician and psychologist. The working languages of the conference are Hungarian and English. The event will be held online. We welcome presentations in a wide range of research areas within these fields.
