Language Teaching Centre

In the versatile portfolio of the Language Teaching Centre (IOK), our primary task is to provide students with general competence-based and specialized language courses in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Latin and Hungarian. In addition, IOK offers specialized translator courses for students at the Faculty of Law, Materials and Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Informatics and Economics. IOK is also involved in adult education offering language courses to the general public and companies.  IOK is a national language examination centre for the Origó and Zöld Út language examinations. Besides educational services, it offers further language related services, such as translation and interpretation.

• Language teaching for students:
  general and specialised language courses in English, French, Latin, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Hungarian 
• Institutional language examination for students in Economics 
• Adult education:
  individual and group language courses organised by the Adult Education Centre 
• Language examinations:
  Origó general language examination, Zöld Út examination for Business Management, Agricultural and Environmental Science and Engineering 
• Interpreting, translation, proofreading
