Board of Trustees of the Universitas Miskolcinensis Foundation
The decision-making, representative and executive body of the Foundation is the Board of Trustees, which exercises all the powers that do not fall within the competence of any other organisation or body of the Foundation. The Board of Trustees is composed of five natural persons who are the management of the Foundation. The Board of Trustees consists of the Chairman and the members of the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees acts as a body.
The Board of Trustees meets as often as necessary, but at least once a month. It shall take its decisions by a simple majority of the members being present at the meeting, except in cases provided for by law.
The Board of Trustees’ responsibilities cover a wide range of areas, including ensuring the continuous achievement of the Foundation’s objectives, creating the necessary means and conditions for this purpose, managing the Foundation’s assets, making investment decisions, and adopting, issuing and amending the University’s Memorandum.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees represents the Board of Trustees and the Foundation independently, as defined in the Foundation’s Memorandum, and prepares, calls and conducts the meetings of the Board of Trustees.
