Accessibility

The University of Miskolc is committed to ensuring that students with disabilities can enjoy their university years to the fullest. Accessibility is important to our institution. This is not just about removing physical barriers, but also includes digital accessibility. 

We are working to make University City accessible, whether in previously built or newly constructed buildings. To this end, many lecture and seminar rooms are also accessible. Special parking spaces are provided for people with disabilities. Access to all buildings is via a ramp and, where necessary, a chair lift is available. 

The University of Miskolc building also has a number of lifts for access within the building complex. 

Information boards are also provided to help students find their way around, making it easier for them to reach accessible areas and special toilets.

Students with disabilities also have access to a relaxation room, located in room 37 on the high ground floor of building A/1. Here, 2 computers, a printer and a sofa are available for students. The key to the room can be obtained from Klára Morvainé Ár, Head of Studies, in room 22 on the mezzanine level of building A/1.
