Areas of cooperation could include astronautics and space science

The Vice President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Rector of the University of Miskolc signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the visit of the representatives of the Chinese higher education institution to Miskolc. The meeting was organised thanks to the iStudy (China-Hungary Education & Technology Co.) partnership agreement.

The Chinese university met with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics and the Faculty of Materials and Chemical Engineering of the University of Miskolc, with which they are looking for future cooperation. In addition to the faculties, the delegation was also introduced to the Bosch Mechatronics Laboratory at the university.

On the occasion of the signing of the MoU, the Vice President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Shi Daning, stated that as a first step they would like to develop short-term exchange programmes with the University of Miskolc – summer universities, intensive courses – on the basis of which discussions on dual degree programmes can begin.
