Your successful exams are not enough to achieve your dream job, companies are looking for candidates with English language skills, reliability, problem-solving, networking, and communication competencies. It is difficult to develop these skills with a crowded schedule and there is not always an opportunity to do an internship.

If you want to develop, apply to be an international mentor for the 2025/2026 academic year, as this will give you the soft skills mentioned above, you will become a member of an international team and your problem-solving skills will get better. To receive the scholarship, there is no exact working hour to do the mentoring work. It is an adventure that you go through with your mentees.

What we expect from a mentor:

• English language
• Active student status (stay at the university for at least the next academic year)
• Openness
• Problem-solving skills
• Living in or near Miskolc

Tasks:

International students assistance with their administrative duties, presentation of the university, keeping contact with students, participation in the implementation of institutional programs and trips, participation in training and mentor meetings, and preparation of reports with pictures.
