Education
I could coordinate to important project in the institute with more than 200 thousand Euros each, I am also a coordinator of one subject for the bachelor of mechanical engineering course.
Professors from the Institute of Applied Mechanics in Miskolc has some connections with German Universities like KIT and TU Berlin. Also UM let me participate of many conferences which help to stronger my networking.
I did an internship in Slovakia, by SAIA in the NPS programme. I did my experimental tests in STU in Bratislava in the Center of Excellent with Professor Josef Peterka. The University of Miskolc from the Doctoral School gave me all the support.
Find a host institution which can boost their research after the stay at the UM. For that, ask your supervisor in the earlier beginning in which partnership you can do. It is important because the burocracy takes a lot of time, more than one year sometimes.
The PhD programme were well structured and gave me the necessary skills to do my research project and the possibility to evolve it in my postdoctoral research.
Before coming to Europa I was a Lecturer in Brazil, then I still have the feeling that I can be a Professor in Europe. For that, I will follow the path to Professorship (postdoctoral studies, after Habilitation, after junior Professor, Associate Professor and Fully Professor).
