When did you start your studies and why did you choose the University of Miskolc?
I started my study at the University on September 2024. I choose this University because of its academic excellency, the campus life, the community support and the international environment.
What are the places and activities that an international student should definitely try in Miskolc?
International students should enjoy one of the most beautiful park in Hungary, the Miskolc Tapolca park, take pictures at the love bridge, enjoy the view from Avas hills, and visit the castles around the city.
What are/were your biggest challenges during your studies and how did you overcome these challenges?
During my first week, I struggled to find the lecture rooms, but I built up friendship with other students and my mentors to help and guide me. Furthermore, the language barrier. I overcame this challenge by starting to learn the basics, joining some local activities and getting Hungarian friends.
What skills and benefits have you already gained from studying at the University of Miskolc?
Time management, professional connection, critical thinking, team work and collaboration, and strategic thinking.
How do you think your Miskolc University degree will help you in your life and career?
This degree will advance my carrier in an international level. Thanks to the local and international collaboration of the University of Miskolc, I would get network opportunities.
What is the most important thing or advice you would recommend to active/future students of the University of Miskolc?
I would recommend the active and future students of the University of Miskolc to get involved in campus life as much as possible. The university offers diverse clubs, and extra-curricular activities. They should focus on personal development as well, by using the resources and connections of the university.
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it to help active/future students of the University of Miskolc?
If I had to choose a superpower, it would be boosting confidence. With this power, I could equip new students with knowledge and skills instantly, boosting their self confidence and exploring more about their abilities.
