When did you start your studies and why did you choose the University of Miskolc?
I started my studies at the University of Miskolc in September 2024. I chose this university because of its strong academic programs, diverse international student community, and commitment to practical learning. The affordable tuition, modern facilities, and supportive environment made it the perfect place to pursue my education.
What are the places and activities that an international student should definitely try in Miskolc?
Miskolc offers a blend of nature, history, and student life. International students should visit Lillafüred for its stunning waterfalls and caves, explore the historic Diósgyőr Castle, and relax in the Miskolctapolca Cave Bath. For a vibrant social life, joining student organizations and attending cultural festivals is a must.
What are/were your biggest challenges during your studies and how did you overcome these challenges?
One of my biggest challenges was adjusting to a new culture and academic system. Initially, I struggled with language barriers and adapting to different teaching methods. However, by actively engaging in university events, building friendships with both local and international students, and seeking support from professors, I gradually overcame these challenges.
What skills and benefits have you already gained from studying at the University of Miskolc?

If I could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to instantly learn and translate any language. This would help international students overcome language barriers, making communication smoother and helping them integrate more easily into academic and social life.
