When did you start your studies and why did you choose the University of Miskolc?
I started my studies in September 2024. The reason I choose university of Miskolc Is because it has a good price value, it has a blend of academic and social life, it has a serene environment.
What are the places and activities that an international student should definitely try in Miskolc?
I highly recommend the Zemplén Trip and the International Dinner to new international students for an unforgettable experience and a great way to connect with others!
What are/were your biggest challenges during your studies and how did you overcome these challenges?
The biggest barriers were language barrier, the weather, and food. I tried using some applications for translation, I got some thicker clothes and accessories to keep warm, i tried to improvise with the cooking ingredients around.
What skills and benefits have you already gained from studying at the University of Miskolc?
Studying at the University of Miskolc has provided me with valuable skills, including basic life support, first aid, CPR, basic nursing, and human anatomy knowledge, which will be essential for my future career.
How do you think your Miskolc University degree will help you in your life and career?
With my BSN degree, I will become a Registered Nurse (RN), allowing me to work as a healthcare provider in a hospital. Additionally, I will have the opportunity to further my education to the MSN level and advance my career.
What is the most important thing or advice you would recommend to active/future students of the University of Miskolc?
Always keep an open mind and remember the reason you choose your career path.
