When did you start your studies and why did you choose the University of Miskolc?
I started the University of Miskolc in 2023, attracted by its strong reputation and exceptional study programmes. The university’s academic excellence and the alignment of its curriculum with my career aspirations made it the perfect fit for my educational journey.
What are the places and activities that an international student should definitely try in Miskolc?
Miskolc offers a variety of unique places and activities that international students should definitely explore like Miskolctapolca Cave Bath, Lillafüred, Downtown Miskolc, which is the heart of the city, Avas Hill, local festivals and events.
What are/were your biggest challenges during your studies and how did you overcome these challenges?
At the beginning of the first semester, my biggest challenge was balancing my routine life with the demanding academic programme. Initially, it was difficult to manage the workload and adapt to the new environment. To overcome this, I created a detailed schedule to organize my time effectively, sought advice from more experienced students, and used university resources to improve my time management skills. This approach helped me gain control over my studies and integrate more smoothly into my new routine.
What skills and benefits have you already gained from studying at the University of Miskolc?
Studying at the University of Miskolc has sharpened my expertise in business and finance, improved my analytical and problem-solving skills, and enhanced my ability to manage time effectively. The program has also expanded my professional network and provided a deeper understanding of international business practices.
