Our laboratory specializes in molecular biology and microbiology, offering a range of core competencies aimed at toxicity testing, antibacterial efficacy evaluation, and the investigation of novel materials and technologies. 

Competencies

Toxicity Testing

Proficiency in testing the toxicity of modern materials, including method validation and test performance. This involves assessing the biological effects of various substances such as catalysts, lubricants, additives containing nanoparticles, composite polyurethane foams, and insulating materials containing plant extracts. 

Antibacterial Efficacy Determination

Expertise in determining and testing the antibacterial efficacy of modern raw materials, including substances like antibacterial ZnO-containing multiwalled carbon nanotubes, bacterial cellulose-based membranes, antibacterial metal alloys, and antibacterial polyurethane foams. 

Application of Magnetic Nanoparticles

Investigation of the applicability of magnetic nanoparticles in molecular and cell biology techniques, including characterizing their ability to reversibly bind tested nucleic acids.
