In the course of its activities, the Directorate for Human Resources performs human resources management, labour and payroll related tasks, as well as related record-keeping and data-servicing tasks in connection with the operation of the University.
Services
- UM payroll processes, planning and execution of monthly payroll tasks,
- payroll of regular and non-regular fees,
- preparation of transfer files,
- calculation of variable pay (standby, on-call, overtime, shift premium), recording of absences; management of garnishments, employee debts, salary advances,
- issuance of income statements,
- data servicing activities towards the authorities, the Government Office, the National Tax and Customs Administration, pension and health funds, trade unions and interest representatives,
- coordination of welfare benefits (maternity, funeral, schooling, camping, social support, end-of-year benefits),
- coordinating tasks relating to other benefits (travel allowances, work clothing allowance, registration of study contracts),
- full-circle personnel administration, management of employment-related documentation (employment contracts, job descriptions), recording activities and coordination of all these tasks for the employees of UM,
- preparing and implementing university-wide staffing measures,
- liaising with employees as a cooperating and supportive partner in matters concerning their employment relationship,
- maintaining data in the personnel records and payroll systems,
- managing and leading the HR partner system,
- developing the HR strategy,
- developing and managing the University’s recruitment, selection and placement processes.
