Short description

The aim of the programme is to train logistics engineers equipped with comprehensive knowledge in natural sciences, technical disciplines, economics, management, IT, industrial and transport technologies. Graduates will be proficient in analysing, planning, organizing and managing logistics processes and systems, including goods transport, materials handling, warehousing, picking, loading, material supply, procurement, distribution and waste management. They will ensure the seamless flow of materials and information within and between companies.  They will be capable of designing, developing and contributing to the production, quality control and operation of logistics machinery, tools and equipment forming integrated logistics systems. Graduates will also be prepared to pursue doctoral studies.

3.

Transfer the application fee.

  • Transfer the application fee (150 EUR) to the bank account of the University of Miskolc (see below). (Applications are processed and evaluated provided that the payment is credited and confirmed by the financial department of the university. It might take 1-2 weeks from the day of payment.)
  • Transfer the application fee (999 SOM) to the bank account of the Kyrgyz State Technical University;

Submit your application before deadline:

  • Opening: 1st of October 2024
  • Deadline: 15th of June 2025, 12:00 (noon) CET
  • Studies start: 1st week of September 2025

As soon as the application fee is credited and confirmed by the financial departments of both universities, the formal and content evaluation of the application documents starts.

7.

If eligible, applicants are invited to take an online oral entrance examination, where their professional knowledge, skills and command of English are assessed by the examination board comprising members from both universities. The date of the oral examination is not tied to the application submission date and will occur by the end of June or November the latest. For details of the entrance examination, please visit the website of the specific study programme. The entrance examination is free of charge.

8.

Within a week following a successful entrance examination, applicants will receive a conditional letter of admission, outlining their tuition and accommodation (dormitory) fee obligations.

Tuition fee

The first semester tuition fee must be transferred as stated in the Conditional Letter of Acceptance. Tuition fees for subsequent years must be transferred before the start of each semester. Students will be notified of their fee-paying obligations in due time.

The first semester tuition fee must be transferred to the Bank account of the Kyrgyz State Technical University.

Accommodation fee
  • The University of Miskolc  automatically provides accommodation in the dormitory on campus for first-year students to support and ease visa process. The first semester accommodation fee (600 EUR) must be transferred together with the tuition fee.

9.

Once the first semester tuition and accommodation fee are credited and confirmed by the financial department of the Kyrgyz State Technical University, applicants will receive a final letter of accommodation confirming that the tuition fee is paid, and that accommodation is provided for the applicant at the Kyrgyz State Technical University.

10.

Applicants must submit their VISA applicationto the relevant Embassy/Consulate as soon as they receive the Final Letter of Acceptance. The applicant must inform the universities about the submission of their VISA application , including the time and place of application. Additionally, they must notify the universities when the VISA is issued or rejected.
