The aim of the program is to train computer software engineers who, after having acquired a high level of technical and scientific knowledge related to the field of informatics, are able to design new IT systems and tools, develop and integrate IT systems, and distributed software applications, carry out and coordinate development tasks in the field of IT. It also prepares students to continue their studies at MSc level.
Graduates can take up different IT positions such as software developer, test developer, OS or DB administrator in the IT industries with theoretical, practical and managerial skills at almost any field of information technology such as software development, programming, OS and databases.

Founded in 1949, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics has evolved into a modern, multidisciplinary institution, integrating mechanical engineering, information technology, logistics, and electrical engineering. Over seven decades, it has adapted to meet contemporary industrial challenges, combining strong research with education.
