The Confucius Institute has been operating at the University of Miskolc since 2013
Our joint team consists of Hungarian and Chinese colleagues. We introduce the Chinese culture and language to those who are interested. Language and cultural courses are offered, besides further events are organized, finally scholarships and internships are available.
The courses can be selected from beginner to advanced levels (coded from HSK1 to HSK 6). The students and employees of our contracted partner-schools (in Miskolc, Kazincbarcika, Edelény, Mezőkövesd) and the University of Miskolc can participate for free. Others are asked to pay a reasonable fee for the courses and teaching materials. For further information please contact us or the Adult Training Centre.
We organize a great variety of events, programs to celebrate the Chinese holidays (China Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Confucius Day, Spring and Lantern Festival, etc) and build community. We are proud of our own Summer camps held in Miskolc and Beijing. Join our courses (Tea, Dancing, Singing, Calligraphy) either on-line or in-person to experience the Chinese Culture!
Both native Chinese and Hungarian teachers form our dedicated, educated and experienced staff. The institute is led by two directors: Porf. Jing Zhao and Dr. Dániel Kuttor.
