Opened in 2014, this state-of-the-art athletics centre is equipped for all athletics events and is suitable for hosting both domestic and international competitions. The track has received a European “A” rating, indicating it is among the highest quality tartan tracks in the country. In addition to the outdoor 8-lane running track, a 60-meter running corridor ensures that athletes can train in ideal conditions during the autumn and winter months.

  Individuals with a supporter membership pass.
• Monthly supporter fee:
  1,000 HUF (November: 500 HUF)
• Track passes can be purchased at the Kemény Dénes Sports Pool ticket office.

Free Access

• Children up to 10 years old.
• University students and staff (with a valid ID).
• Registered and fee-paying athletes of Miskolc Sports School (with proof of payment).
• Members of other sports clubs by agreement.

The sports arena at the University Sports Center in Miskolc features:

• Two artificial turf pitches, each measuring 20m x 40m and equipped with ball-catching nets.
• A service building with four locker rooms, each equipped with showers and lockable cabinets.
• Additional amenities include a brick oven, a 72m² covered (partially open) area, and a 150m² open terrace.
• The layout accommodates up to 300 people in a comfortable environment, with the possibility of further expansion upon request.

Rental Fee

The rental fee for the artificial turf pitch is approximately 10,000 HUF / pitch / hour during weekday opening hours.

In 2024, the newly established Strand Sports Centre, part of the sports investment and infrastructure development initiatives, welcomes all sports enthusiasts at the University Sports Centre.

The centre features 4 beach volleyball courts, or 2 beach handball courts, or 2 beach football pitches, or tennis and badminton courts for true sports fanatics. The sandy pitch area is suitable for hosting high-quality championships, camps, and smaller tournaments. It includes a small grandstand, two locker room containers with showers, and a sanitation container with two separate restroom facilities.

In 2024, the facility hosted the National Beach Volleyball Championship organized by the Hungarian University and College Sports Federation. It also gained recognition on the European stage, with 24 women’s and 24 men’s teams showcasing their skills during the European University Games.

Pitch Rental Fee

The Outdoor Fitness Park, located next to the University Sports Hall in Miskolc, offers the university community the opportunity to try various work-out exercises using bodyweight equipment.

Use of the fitness park is free for everyone!

Users of the park’s equipment do so at their own risk.

The facility offers

• a hanging horizontal ladder,
• multiple height hanging bars,
• a push-up bar set,
• three-piece stepping stones and
• a double ab bench.

Located on the ground floor of Uni-Hotel, our gym offers more than 60 fitness machines for those wishing to stay active. In addition, we have 3 high-quality tanning beds for those who want to get a tan.
