For Students Living in University Dormitories

If you’re staying in the University of Miskolc dormitory, the accommodation procedure is straightforward:

Receiving the Accommodation Document

In some cases, you may receive the accommodation document along with your visa from the embassy. Regardless, you will still receive the accommodation document by email within two weeks of your arrival in Hungary.
Please check your email regularly for this important document, as it is essential for your stay.

For Students Renting Off Campus

If you’re renting an apartment off campus, the accommodation process involves a few extra steps:

Create an Account

Visit https://enterhungary.gov.hu/ and create an account.

Submit a New Application

Go to My Cases > New Application > Announcement of Notification of Change of Accommodation.
Fill in the required data.

Prepare Required Documents

Scan of your residence permit.
Scan of your passport.
Scan of your rental contract.

Sign and Submit

Once your application is processed, you will receive a file. This document must be signed by both you and your landlord (the property owner).
Upload the signed file back to the system.

Processing Time

The estimated time to receive your accommodation document is about two weeks after completing the process.
